We are a family business.
My name is Sharon and I am a cake artist and owner of Sharwood Cakes. I love making cakes. Cakes are my passion ! Even though my husband (Larry)
is not shown in this picture he supports me and my desire to serve my customers. I could not be successful without him! He brings his own creative ideas, engineering and assembly skills.
Laurel, my granddaughter, has a bachelers degree in education (graduated in 2009). She would like to be a teacher but jobs are scarce. She spends many hours learning the art of cake decorating. She assists on many deliveries and set ups. She is definitely an asset. I don't know what I would do without her. Sometimes my teenage grandsons assist in deliveries.
Tiffany and Eric run their own business as well as assist me in Sharwood Cakes. They do much of the baking so I can concentrate on decorating. They are usually with me on large deliveries and set ups. Their creative skill bring many ideas to the table in creating cakes over the top! Music has always been one of Tiffany and Eric's passion but both have grown up with a creative sweet tooth. Tiffany has been singing and performing since she was 14 years old, recording in Nashville with Billy Joe Burnette (grammy song writer). Eric has had over 10 years experience in radio. We have 4 children (all grown now with families of their own). They have blessed us with 10 wonderful grandchildren and probably more to come.
Cakes are my passion ! I have been baking cakes for over 30 years - mostly for family and friends. As the years passed, birthday cakes became more and more over the top. Holidays became a bananza of cookies, pies, candies and cakes and my passion soared and eventually became a business. Keeping with the love of creative service, "Sharwood Cakes" was born. We welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best baking we can, as well as the best service we can provide.
Over the years, our entire family have always tried to meet our customers needs. We have always tried to provide great quality at a fair price.
