Groom's Cakes
What is a groom's cake? The bride usually has a certain vision that
she wants for her wedding day and especially her wedding cake.
What about the groom? This is a cake that sits beside the wedding
cake to reflect what the groom likes. It does not have to reflect the elegance of the wedding but more fun and personal. Not
every groom wants a groom's cake. That's OK - it's your wedding
day! The bride and groom should have their day evolve around them and have everything the way they would like it to be (within
their budget, of course).
Below are a few of the groom's cakes we have done this year:
As you can see, this grooms loves
the band "KISS" ! His fiance sent us
a set of collectable Kiss band figurines
and turned us loose! The stage is
completely edible including the red
skirt around the bottom. All speakers, moniters, and lift for the drummer are
edible. It went over great! What a surprise he got. A gift from his new bride.
This wedding reflects not only what the bride wanted but the groom as well. I included this pic in the wedding page as well because they both LOVE the sport of GOLF. As you can see the bride and groom are sitting on a large boulder overlooking a
pond. But not to worry, their golf bags are beside her and golf clubs are sitting next to him. Golf carts are standing nearby for a few quick holes before the wedding! All 3 golf
carts were given to the groom by his loving bride. Boulders in the pond, trees, and entire golf couse were edible. It doesn't get better than that - sitting next to the one
you love at your favorate golf course overlooking the 18th hole. What a day!
This bride and groom loved the 60's. Love
and peace. Make love - not war! Remember that slogan? This peace symbol was a surprise
groom's cake from his sweetheart.
Well, you can tell what this groom loves! HARLEY! He picked out 3 of his most prize harleys to display on the cake. I went to my local "Mad River Harley Dealership" and purchased a harley patch (to be sewn on his jacket later and a harley candel for on top of the cake.

Some groom's want a cake made with his favorite fruits and toppings like my strawberry jubalee. The cake is a refreshing lemon cake.It is filled with a mixture of mandarin oranges,
strawberry glaze, pineapple, a secret ingredient, and whipped topping. The mixture is then put on the outside of the cake. Once the cake sets up, strawberry whipped topping
is spread all over and topped with fresh strawberries in strawberry glaze.
Mouth watering !
A special groom's cake for a groom who loves CHOCOLATE! My chocolate fudge cake with
chocolate carmel filling. We've Only Just Begun
was written on the top. This couple was renewing their many years of marriage - their
journey had truly "just begun".
This groom wanted one thing for his groom's cake. you guessed it - his favorite drink that
is what we gave him. A giant can of beer (completely edible). You can see the size of
this can compared to the bride and groom at
the bottom. Talk about a major hangover!
